SOLIDARITY
- It refers to unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest, and mutual support within a group.
- It must defy boundaries. Race, gender, wealth, and other factors that could create segregation must be eradicated. Community members must work as one. Everybody must be given equal opportunity to experience what their community can offer. A sense of community must be present. What one thinks is bad for their neighbors, they must think is bad for themselves. And what one thinks is enjoyable for them must be shared with their neighbors.
CITIZENSHIP
- A citizen is a member of a political community who enjoys the rights and assumes the duties of membership. It is the people that the community serves, and it is also the people who make a community as one. The heart of the existence of a community is the people. They are the agents that bring relevant changes to our political and economic system.
