Over-farming, Poor Soil Management, Drought, Wind Erosion

What are the three types of wind erosion?

What is surface creep erosion?

Continuous movement of soil and rock due to gravity, water, and/or wind

What is wind saltation?

Solid particles being moved in a series of small bounces on an uneven surface by wind

What is wind suspension?

Fine particles moved parallel to a surface and upward into atmosphere by strong winds

Creating terraces on steep slopes to prevent erosion

What are cover crops?

Planting crops that cover the soil to prevent erosion between primary crops
