Federal Powers

LIS: Lower house consists of members of Parliament elected by the public. Makes and Passes laws, controls government spending, inspects government. PM and house of Lords is usually drawn from here.

DAP: Upper house is elected by the king (usually advised by PM) they review and suggest amendments to legislation proposed by Commons, Can delay and propose changes but cannot block bills insisted by Commons, inspects public policy and administration

LPPRCC: Leadership of the gov, Policy Making, Parlimentary influence, Representation, Cabinet appointments, Calling elections
UK
PM is elected through legislature, executive is accountable to legislative, PM appoints from legislature
US
Pres is not elected through legislature, branches are distinct, Pres appoints not from Legislature
