Formation of the subjunctive

Infinitive → present yo form → remove the “o” → opposite ending

When conjugating to the yo form in the subjunctive, use the él/ella ending

Car/gar/zar

C → qu

G → gu

Z → c

Stem changers

Ar and er = same as present indicative

Ir = nosotros form also has a stem change

Irregular verbs
