 Familial Hypercholesterolemia is a genetic disorder that cannot be spread through indirect ways as it can only be spread through reproduction. It is unlikely that these have since they are not related and just starting symptoms recently.

What is the etiology of diabetes?

Diabetes type 2 is caused by insulin resistance. Insulin resistance is typically caused by eating foods high in sugar and fats which can lead to other health problems but Type 2 diabetes is a common disease you can develop with unhealthy lifestyle habits.
