Archetype
A typical character, action, or situation that represents universal patterns of human nature.
Distinct values
Specific culture or moral principles that a society or group holds in high regard.
Epic
A long narrative story/poem about the deeds of heroes.
Epic hero
Central character/figure of the epic of great, sometimes larger than life.
Fairy tale
A fictional story, often featuring magical elements, that typically includes good vs. evil and a happy ending.
Folk tale
A traditional story passed down orally, often involving ordinary people and supernatural events.
Legend
Stories about the past that have been handed down from one generation to the next generation.
Myth
A traditional story that explains natural phenomena, customs, traditions, or the origins of the world and humanity, often involving gods and supernatural events.
Oral tradition
Stories passed down from one generation to the next.
Parody
A humorous or exaggerated imitation of a serious piece of literature, style, or genre.
Protagonist
The leading character or one of the major characters in a drama, movie, novel, or fictional text.
Theme
The central idea/message of a story.
Soothsayers
Prophets or seers who predict the future.
