What does projectile motion mean?
Projectile = An object that is projected such that it remains near Earth鈥檚 surface and air resistance is negligible
Motion = the position is changing
What are the assumptions for the Projectile Motion Model?
Particle, 2D motion, constant horizontal velocity, constant downward acceleration, neglect air resistance
In addition to the assumptions, you must include these in your interpret step:
Neglect Earth鈥檚 curvature
Neglect Earth鈥檚 rotation
The horizontal velocity does not change; thus,
ax = 0
The vertical velocity does change
