Respect

Respect, a sense of pride to belong to an exceptional team. No place for prejudice or discrimination

Self-respect- enviroment of high personal standards, teamwork and professionalism nurtures self-respect around them.

Mutual-respect- respect everybody up and down the chain of command as the RAF is a diverse Force family and personnel must maintain high standard of decency towards everybody.

Humility- respect everyone's opinions and be honest, genuine and reasonable with everyone.

Inclusion- non-negotiable and critical to team cohesion

Being honest and having strong morale principles

Morale courage- doing the right, even if it maybe dangerous or un popular, creating a culture where subordinates are empowered to challenge leaders constructively and leaders are prepared to listen

Honesty- builds trust within teams, ensures safety, supports effective leadership, without it lives are at risk.

Justice- balance and consistent behaviour with everyone

Service

Is the act of unselfish commitment, and military life is one selfless service.

Physical and mental courage- operating in such difficult circumstances requires difficult physical and mental courage and mutual support of colleagues.

Loyalty- requires unswerving loyalty to defend the crown, and social a d professional loyalty towards their leaders team and duty.

Commitment- maintains dedication whenever and wherever no matter the danger.

Teamwork- working with service members, but also army, navy, civil servants and allies. Treat others with respect.

Is about upholding the airforce’s reputation of excellence and to get the best from people

Personal excellence- to get excellence from themselves and the team, maintain a high level of mental and physical condition

Discipline- self discipline to naturally enforce high stamdards, commanders must be able to enforce high discipline when necessary. Self discipline on and off duty.

Pride- breeds excellence
