The original state of human beings in their relationship with God, sharing in the divine life in full communion with him. The effects were superior knowledge, immortality, and self-control.

What is sanctifying grace?

The grace that heals our human nature wounded by sin and restored us to friendship with God by giving us a share in the divine life of the Trinity. It is a supernatural gift of God, infused into our souls by the Holy Spirit, that continued the work of making us holy.

The Original Sin was pride and disobedience, the rebel angels went against God's love and were cast out of heaven.

That we lack the grace that Adam and Eve had with God before the Fall. We must recieve Baptism to free us from the effects of Original Sin.

What is the Protoevangelium? Describe it in detail.

"First Gospel", Genesis 3:15 "I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and hers." This is God's annoucnment of a Savior, Jesus Christ. The woman is Eve and the offspring is Humanity. Symbolically Mary is the woman and the offspring is Jesus.
