How did this start?
After school, we’d go to Dauda’s house to play games and watch hip-hop videos. Seeing those rappers with their larger-than-life personas made me want to be that. That’s what pulled me into rap.
What made you know you could actually do this music thing?
Being an artist = enjoying what you create + others enjoying it
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a Ghanaian hip-hop artist who talks about issues people usually overlook, ignore, or are afraid to speak about. I like to make serious topics feel bold and thought-provoking, but still witty and grounded.
Why the sellotape
The sellotape was a message. It shed light on what men go through emotionally. Whether we’re happy or sad, we’re often not allowed to show it. That moment was my way of speaking—without saying a word.
