Beatus vir qui non abiit

Blessed is the man who hath not walked

in consilio impiorum et in via

in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of the

peccatorum non stetit et in cathedra

of sinners hath not stood, and in the seat of

pestilentiae non sedit

infected men from the hath not sat

Sed in lege Domini voluntas eius

However, the law of the Lord

et in lege eius meditabitur die ac nocte

and in his law will he meditate by day and by night,

Et erit tamquam lignum

And he shall be like a tree

quod plantatum est secus

planted by

decursus aquarum quod fructum

the water that will bring forth

suum dabit in tempore suo

its fruit in season;

et folium eius non defluet

And his leaf shall not fall off:

et omnia quaecumque faciet prosperabuntur

and all things whatsoever he doeth shall prosper
