Postive / Negative
Refers to the value of a number in relation to zero; positive numbers are greater than zero, while negative numbers are less than zero.
Increasing / Decreasing
A description of a function's behavior where it either rises (increasing) or falls (decreasing) as the input values progress.
Domain / Range
The set of all possible input values (domain) and the set of all possible output values (range) of a function.
Discrete / Continuous
Discrete refers to distinct or separate values, while continuous describes a set of values that can take on any number within a range.
Function
A function can be either discrete, which consists of individual, separate points, or continuous, which represents a smooth curve without gaps.
