One of the men whose wife was arrested, he admits to committing adultery in court to Judge Danforth.

She was accused of witchcraft and brought out into court to tell the truth about her husbands sin and failed to do so.

John Proctor brought her to Danforth and Hathorne to prove that the other girls were lying, and to ruin Abigails credibility.

He opposes Proctor and the other men whose wives are in jail, he says they’re coming to overthrow the court.

His opinion on the trials fluctuated, he ended up denouncing the court when a man he trusted to be telling the truth got accused and arrested.

The accused John proctors wife to get revenge, and claimed there was a bird on the ceiling in the court.

Judge Danforth - desc

He’s outspoken, and very easily convinced although he’s an official of the court.

Judge Hathorne - desc

He doesn’t talk as much as another judge in the court, but he’s more stubborn in his opinion on the girls words being truth.

Ezekiel Cheever - desc

He’s an official of the court that’s very serious with his job, and reports anything he deems to be a piece of evidence.

Giles Corey - desc

One of the men whose wife was arrested, he was arrested for “contempt” of court after refusing to give up the name of an informant he got information from.

Francis Nurse - desc

One of the men whose wife got arrested, his wife is a very respected member of society, and is believed to be innocent by Reverend Hale.

Thomas Putnam - desc

His wife accused one of the three men wives who got arrested for killing their first 7 children the same day they were born.
