Explain steep/gentle cliffs

Steep cliffs = high energy environemts, long fetch, destructive waves

Gentle = low energy, weaker rocks, less resistant

1. HA and abrasion at the base of the cliff= where their is a crack = wave cut notch

2. Wave cut notch becomes bigger = cliff becomes unstable and collapses through mass movement
