I organize my tasks by priority. If something is urgent, I focus on it first. I work with the team to solve it fast and keep communication clear with the supplier or customer.
What do you already know about diving or marine purchasing?
I know that safety and timing are very important. You need special equipment that must be high quality and delivered on time. I’m ready to learn the names and codes of diving tools and marine parts.
Do you have experience with marine or diving logistics?
I worked with spare parts and after-sales operations for appliances, but I understand the importance of time and safety in marine services. I’m a fast learner and ready to learn about marine and diving parts, especially how to follow safety and delivery requirements.
What is a purchase order (PO) and how do you use it?
A purchase order is an official document that the company uses to order goods or services. It includes product details, quantity, unit price, delivery date, and total amount. I prepare POs, get approval, and send them to suppliers. Then I follow up to make sure the delivery is on time.
How do you ensure the equipment you purchase meets safety standards?
I always ask for safety certificates and datasheets. I also make sure the supplier follows international diving safety standards before I approve the order
What would you do if a supplier delays delivery?
I contact the supplier, get a new delivery date, and inform the team or customer service immediately.
Do you have experience using an ERP system like Odoo?
I haven’t worked with Odoo yet, but I used SAP systems to manage spare parts, service requests, and reports. I’m confident I can learn Odoo quickly because I already follow organized workflows and understand logistics steps.
How do you use Odoo to make a PO?
I go to the Purchase module, create a new request for quotation, select the supplier, and add product details and quantities. After approval, I confirm the PO and follow up on delivery status.
How do you ensure spare parts are available on time?
I check availability. I plan ahead and order before we run out. I also follow up closely with suppliers and logistic companies.
How do you book a flight for a team member?
I collect their ID and travel details, check company-approved travel agencies or websites, and make the reservation. I also send the itinerary and confirmation email.
How do you arrange hotel accommodation?
I find hotels close to the job site, check availability and company rates, and confirm the booking. I send the reservation details and assist if there are changes.
What do you do if the product delivered is different from the request?
I report it and follow the handling policy.
What’s the process for airport transfer booking?
I check flight times, book a car or company vehicle, and share the pickup details with the driver and traveler. I follow up before the flight to confirm everything.
