Lateral digital extensor (more lateral to previous): extends digits 2 & 5
Extensor carpi ulnaris (most lateral to previous; near wrist): extends digit 5




(Caudal Aspect of Limb)
Flexor Carpi Radialis (medial): flexes digits 2 & 3
Superficial Digital Flexor (more midline to previous): flexes digits 2 & 5
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris (lateral; near wrist): flexes hand
Deep Digital Flexor (deep midline): flexes carpus & digits




Action: draws limb caudally; flexes shoulder joint



External intercostals action: elevate ribs to expand the chest for inhalation
Internal intercostals action: pull ribs down and inward to help with forced exhalation







External abdominal oblique action: constricts abdomen
Internal abdominal oblique action: compresses abdomen
Transverse abdominis action: constricts abdomen


Rectus abdominis action: compresses abdomen











Biceps femoris action (lateral): abducts the thigh/ flexes the leg
Semitendinosus action (lateral): flexes the leg
Semimembranosus action (medial): extends thigh

Pectineus action: adducts limb; extends thigh
Adductor action: adducts limb; extends thigh
