What is an association tract?
Connects and transports signals between gyri of the same hemisphere
arcuate fibers and longitudinal fasciculi
What is a commissural tract
connects and transmits signals from a gyrus on one hemisphere to the corresponding gyrus on the other hemisphere

What is a projection tract?
Link between cerebral cortex to the diencephalon, brain stem, cerebellum, and spinal cord.
