Data Breach
A cybercrime in which a cybercriminal extracts data from a source, usually through remote network access or physical access.
Cybercrime Police
An organization led by government agencies responsible for policing the internet and combating cybercrime.
VPN (Virtual Private Network)
A technology that creates a secure, encrypted connection over a less secure network, such as the Internet.
Spyware
Software that secretly monitors and collects information from a device, often installed without user consent.
Privacy
The quality or state of being apart from company or observation, particularly concerning personal information.
Encryption
The process of encoding information to prevent unauthorized access.
Netiquette
A set of guidelines for acceptable online behavior combining 'network' and 'etiquette'.
Malware
Malicious software designed to harm, exploit, or otherwise compromise computers and networks.
Ethics
Moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity.
Spam
Unwanted or unsolicited messages sent over the internet, often via email.
Identity Theft
The crime of obtaining and using someone else's personal information without their consent.
