1st Amendment
Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition
2nd Amendment
Right to keep and bear arms
3rd Amendment
No quartering of soldiers in private homes during peacetime
4th Amendment
Protection against unreasonable searches and seizures
5th Amendment
Protection from self-incrimination, double jeopardy; due process; eminent domain
6th Amendment
Right to a speedy and public trial, impartial jury, and legal counsel
7th Amendment
Right to a jury trial in civil cases over $20
8th Amendment
No excessive bail or fines; no cruel and unusual punishment
9th Amendment
Rights not listed in the Constitution are still retained by the people
10th Amendment
Powers not given to the federal government are reserved for the states or people

Repeals the 18th Amendment (ends Prohibition)

Limits the President to two terms

Grants Washington D.C. electoral votes in presidential elections

Prohibits poll taxes in federal elections

Defines presidential succession and disability procedures
