what is the scientific method?
a process in which scientists use to acquire knowledge and understand the natural world through observation, experimentation, and analysis
what is the problem of an expirement?
a specific, unanswered question or issue, that the scientists is trying to answer

what is an inference?
an educated guess that is made from observed evidence and existing knowledge
what is a hypothesis
an educated guess or prediction about what you think will happen in your experiment

constant variable (factor that is used in comparison)
what happens when you test your hypothesis
you run an experiment to collect data, the results will show if your hypothesis was correct or if you need to change it.

too make the information useful and valuable

what occurs during your conclusion stage?
you look at the results of your experiment and decide if they support your hypothesis or not, while you explain what you learned and what it means.
why should you always repeat your expirement?
to make sure your results are accurate and not just a mistake, as repeating it shows that your findings are reliable and can be trusted.
