-mesenteric region

What is the normal nodes measurement?

<1 cm

What is the normal cortex measurement?

<3mm

Are normal abdominal nodes usually visualized by US?

no they are not

Where are lymph nodes usually located?

along vessels like the aorta

What is the sonographic appearance of the para-aortic lymph nodes?

-hypoechoic

-homogenous

-possible enhancement

-rounded focal

When you scan the para aortic lymph nodes what should you look for?

if they are reproducible and to look for the hilum

What is the measurements of the para-aortic lymph nodes

1-3 cm

cortex <3mm is normal
