What should you do if someone is vomiting or bleeding from the mouth when shock occurs?

Do not elevate their legs as it’ll worsen the situation. Position them on their side to prevent choking (recovery position) and brace the neck if it has been broken.

When bleeding is arterial or doesn’t stop with pressure. You should apply a tourniquet 2 inches above the wound. Put a post it note on the Vic with the letter “T” and when tourniquet was applied.
