Description to evoke the 5 sense.

Something happening in a way opposite of you expect. (Humerous)

Juxtaposes

Two ideas together to contrast and their effects.

parallelism

The repetition of words to enhance a deeper meaning and effect.

Tone

The author’s attitude about a subject

Rhetorical Quesiton

A quesiton in engaging the audience, making them ponder, emphasize a point.

Repitition

Repeating words or phrases to emphasize the importance or a point the author is trying to highlight.

Pathos

The appeal to emotions or to evoke emotions from the audience.

Logos

Appeal to logic, reasoning, and concrete evidence.

Ethos

Appeal to credibility or character is worth listening to.
