What is the social intuitionist model of moral judgement?
The idea that our moral judgements are products of fast, emotional intuitions and that influences our reasoning

We identify with someone’s suffering and want to help them and end the suffering

The more people around, the less likely you are to help - because “someone else will do it”

When people think that there isn’t something bad happening

they both make it less likely for bystanders to intervene

Having less resources leads people to be more attuned to others’ needs.
