What is the difference between speed and velocity?
Speed is a scalar as it only has magnitude
velocity is a vector as it has both magnitude and direction
both measure how fast you are going but only velocity tells you the direction you are going in
What is the difference between distance and displacement?
distance is a scalar quantity as it only has magnitude
displacement is a vector quantity because it has both magnitude and direction
displacement is the shortest distance between the start and end points
What is the formula for velocity?
velocity (v) = displacement (s) / time (t)
