Hero's Quest

1st Step

The hero is born into unusual circumstances that indicate they are destined for greatness.

2nd Step

The hero is forced to leave and live with others either because of some traumatic event or to remain protected.

3rd Step

An incident occurs that leads the hero onto their quest or adventure.

4th Step

Hero obtains a special weapon only they can have.

5th Step

The hero always receives some form of supernatural help from a spirit or mentor that speaks to them.

6th Step

The hero faces many different challenges that prove to themselves and others their capabilities and heroic nature.

7th Step

The hero experiences some sort of extreme low point called a “descent into hell”. Once the hero survives this experience they mature greatly and gain new wisdom to complete their mission.

8th Step

The hero must avenge a parental or guiding figure or make up for the evil done by them.

9th Step

The hero is rewarded spiritually after their death, being placed in a position of higher honor.
