Situational influences on behavior
Factors in the environment that can affect how an individual acts.
Fundamental attribution error
The tendency to overemphasize personal characteristics and ignore situational factors in judging others' behavior.
Conformity
Adjusting one's behavior or thinking to coincide with a group standard.
Obedience to authorities
Following commands or instructions from someone perceived as an authority figure.
Bystander intervention
The act of helping someone in an emergency situation; influenced by factors such as diffusion of responsibility.
Aggression
