To develop, organize, train, equip, support and

sustain Army forces for the conduct of prompt and

sustained ground operation to accomplish the

AFP mission.

Functions

To train, organize, equip and develop Army

reserve units for the possible expansion of the

peacetime Army component to meet any

emergency.
