Emotional Intelligence
Also known as EI or EQ.
It helps us understand our emotions and those of others. It allows us to stay calm during challenges, communicate effectively, and build meaningful relationships.
It is the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and influence emotions-both our own and other people's, It's about being smart with our feelings and how we can control our reactions, stay calm under stress, express ourselves clearly, and connect better with others. It helps us not only to survive but to succeed in school, relationships, and eventually, the workplace.
Importance of Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence plays a big role in our daily lives. It helps us:
Build stronger relationships with friends, family, and classmates
Make better decisions, especially in emotional situations
Manage stress in healthy ways

It is understanding how other people feel, even without them telling you. It allows us to show compassion and support to those around us.

These include communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and relationship-building People with strong social skills are often good listeners, helpful teammates, and inspiring leaders.
