prognosis=good | fairly treatable
found in farmers, landscapers
Respiratory Anthrax
aka “Pulmonary Anthrax”
via inhalation
prognosis=worse | fairly NOT treatable
Intestinal Anthrax
unbelievably rare b/c it is an anaerobic environment (bacillus don’t like)
prognosis=the worst as it’s the most internal
Tx
antibiotics may be effective (Ciproflaxacin)
success depents on type of disease
