Ka; The sound of "c" in cut. it's just like the English k - like in words like 'kind', 'king' etc

KHa; The sound of "kh" in khaki. Now to pronounce ख kha put your hand over your mouth again and make the same sound as क ka,but this time push as much air from your mouth as possible, you should really feel lots of breathe on your hand. We say that ख kha is the aspirated version of क ka.

Ga; The sound of "g" in gum. it's just like the English 'g' from the word "go" or "get"
घ
GHa; The sound of "gh" in ghost. gha is the aspirated version of ग ga. So to pronounce घ gha all we do is make the sound ग ga with lots of breath.

Na; it's pronounced like the n in the English word 'ink'

Cha; The sound of "ch" in chuck. it's just like the 'ch' like in 'church' or 'cheese'.
छ
CHa; Similar to a harder sound of "ch" in chuck. just pronounce the letter च ca and make lots of breath. Aspirated version.
ज
Ja; The sound of "j" in jug. letter ज ja is another one that's easy to pronounce, it's just like the English "j" in words like "jade" or "jungle".
झ
Jha; to pronounce झ jha you just make the sound of ज ja with lots of air.
ञ
Nya; distinct sound of "n" and "y" pronounced together. ña is pronounced like the n in the word 'inch'

Tuh; To make the right sound firstly say a normal English "ta", now say it again but instead of having your tongue behind your teeth roll it back in your mouth a litte

THa; Similar to the sound of "t" in tuck, {hard "tha"}. it's the aspirated version of ट ta, so roll your tongue back a little make a "t" sound and breath out loads of air at the same time

Duh; Make a normal English "d", like in "date", and then roll your tongue back a little and you should have the ड da sound perfectly!

DHa; so to pronounce it roll your tongue back, make a big fat "d" sound and let out lots of air - ढ dha.
ण
Na; it's a big fat "n" sound! So roll your tounge back a little and say "na".
त
Ta; The soft sound of "t" in dental. this त ta has a light tinny sound. Put your tongue right behind your top front teeth and say "ta"

Da; This letter is pronounced by putting your tongue behind your top front teeth and making a light tinny 'da' sound

Pa; We pronounce this just like the English p - but be careful, this letter is not aspirated. It is like the "p" in the word "spit". Put your hand in front of your mouth and make sure no air is leaving as you say it.

Ra; It's pronounced as a slightly trilled "r" - like the "r" in Spanish but lighter. The consonant र ra is a bit special because the two vowels उ u and ऊ oo join on to it slightly differently. Here's how it works: र ra + उ u gives us रु ru and र ra + ऊ oo gives us रू roo.

La; sounds quite like a normal English "l" sound, as in like but The Hindi pronunciation is a little lightly than English "l"s
