Iliopsoas
Hip flexor, deep in pelvis; a composite of two muscles
Gluteus maximus
Used to extend the hip when climbing stairs
Gastrocnemius
"Toe dancer's" muscle; a two-bellied muscle of the calf
Tibialis anterior
Inverts and dorsiflexes the foot
Adductors
