Destination Address
The address to which a data packet is being sent.
Host ID
The unique identifier for a device on a network.
Subnet Mask
A 32-bit number that divides an IP address into the network and host portions.
CIDR Notation
A compact representation of an IP address and its associated network mask.
Broadcast IP
The last IP address in a range that can be used to send data to all devices in the network.
Gateway
A node that serves as an access point to another network.
IP Address
A unique string of numbers separated by periods that identifies each computer using the Internet Protocol to communicate over a network.
