Mount
Attaches a storage device or partition (like a USB drive or disk) to the Linux file system so that its contents can be accessed through a specific directory called a mount point. The mount command links the device to that directory, making its files available for use.
Unmount
Detaches the device or partition from the file system using the umount command. This ensures all data is written properly and prevents corruption before removing or disconnecting the device.
