Square number
the output of a number multiplied by itself
Square root
a value that can be multiplied by itself to give a square number
Hypotenuse
the largest side on a right-angled triangle. Always opposite the right angle
Linear sequence
a sequence which increases or decreases by a constant value each time
Geometric sequence
a sequence where each term is generated by multiplying the previous term by a fixed non-zero value
