if a segment is a median of a triangle, then it divides the opposite side into 2 congruent segments OR then it bisects the side to which it is drawn

altitude

if a segment is the altitude of a triangle, then it is perpendicular to the side to which it is drawn

rt. angles

if 2 angles are both supp and congruent, then they’re rt. angles

equidistant

if 2 pts are each equidistant from the endpts of a segment, then the 2 pts determine the perpendicular bisector of the segment

perpendicular bisector

if a pt is on the perpendicular bisector of a segment, then it is equidistant from the endpts of the segment
