Object Permanence

Cave person know rock still there, even if behind big bush. Understand rock not gone just 'cause can't see.

Deferred Imitation

Cave person see other cave person do dance, then later can do dance too. Brain hold memory of dance.

Egocentrism

Cave person only see world how they see it. Think everyone like same food, can't think other cave person like different food.

Conservation Task

Cave person see two rocks, squish one flat. Think flat rock bigger. But no! Still same rock, just look different.

Zone of Proximal Development

Place where cave kid learn best. When cave helper show way, kid can do it, but need helper at first.

Social Scaffolding

Cave helper hold kid hand to climb rock. Then let go little by little as kid get better at climbing.

Formal Operational Stage

When cave person can think deep about magic or stars. Can imagine what happen if big storm come.
