ESCAPA
E - en caso (de) que.....In case

ESCAPA is always followed by the subjunctive or an infinitive.
- ESCAPA is followed by an infinitive when
- ESCAPA is followed by the subjunctive when they indicate a hypothetical action or state
Ex:
I am not going UNLESS she comes.
No voy a menos que ella venga.
CAMELoT
C - cuando.................when
A - aunque.................although/even if
M - mientras...............while
E - en cuanto..............as soon as
L - luego que..............as soon as
o - ..............................just here to make the acronym work
T - tan pronto como....as soon as
- CAMELoT is always followed by the indicative or the subjunctive. CAMELoT is NEVER followed by the infinitve.
- CAMELoT is followed by the indicative when a fact is mentioned in the sentence, or when the outcome of the action is known.
Ex:
I'll do it even though she DOES NOT like it.
Lo haré aunque no le gusta.
- The indicative is used here because we know (it is a fact) that she does not like it.
-CAMELoT is followed by the subjunctive when we do not know the outcome of the action or sentence.
Ex:
I'll do it even though she MAY not like it.
Lo haré aunque no le guste.
- Subjunctive is used here because we do not know if she likes it.

These can be followed by anything.
