Heat waves
Caused by higher temperatures, may cause water water shortages and dehydration. Many elderly are unable to cope and may die

Due to increased temperatures, causing polar habitats to disappear

Caused by prolonged drought with higher temperatures. Causes habitat loss, more CO2, less CO2 contained.
Hurricanes
they’re becoming more powerful as the sea temperatures increase, causing more damage.
Coastal flooding
As sea Temperatures increase, the water expands causing islands like the Maldives to be at risk.
River floods
As the temperature increases, more water vapour can be held so we have more intense rainfall causing rivers to flood. This can damage property and cause landslides.
Coral bleaching
Due to acidification of the oceans, there is a loss of coral, this could reduce tourism for the Great Barrier Reef
