Majority Leader in HOR. Exerts pressure on party members to vote w/ the party. Responsible for getting party’s program enacted into law.

Passage of party’s programs. Inform and pressure members to vote for programs, determine order in which bills are debated
House Minority Leader
Responsible for informing party members and organizing resistance to programs submitted by majority
