Factorial
The product of all positive integers up to a given number n, denoted as n!.
Greatest Integer Function (GIF)
A function that takes a real number and gives the greatest integer less than or equal to that number, often denoted as [x].
Exponent of Prime
The highest power of a prime number that divides a given factorial.
n! = n(n-1)!
A recursive formula for computing the factorial of n.
n! for n=0
0! is defined to equal 1.
Prime Factorization
Expressing a number as the product of its prime factors.
HCF (Highest Common Factor)
The greatest factor that divides two or more numbers.
LCM (Least Common Multiple)
The smallest multiple that is divisible by two or more numbers.
Exponent of 10 in n!
Calculated as the sum of the exponents of its prime factors 2 and 5.
Range of the Greatest Integer Function
The set of all integer values that can result from applying the GIF to various real numbers.
