BEFORE 34 weeks-->increase by 10 bpm for 10 seconds
AFTER 34 weeks--> increase by 15 bpm for 15 seconds
stress test
test for fetal movement that is determined by CONTRACTIONS
Negative (NORMAL)--> NO LATE decelerations
Positive (ABNORMAL)--> LATE decelerations with 50% of contractions
Equivocal--> INTERMITTENT LATE OR VARIABLE decelerations REQUIRES further testing
