Confirmation Bias
The tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's preexisting beliefs or hypotheses.
Sunk-Cost Fallacy
The tendency to continue investing in a project or decision simply because one has already invested a significant amount of resources (time, money, effort) into it, even if it's no longer rational.
Choice-Supportive Bias
The tendency to remember one's own choices as better than they actually were, and to over-attribute positive characteristics to chosen options and negative ones to rejected options.
Information Overload
A state of having too much information to make an effective decision or to stay informed about a particular topic, leading to stress or poor judgment.
