Prokaryotes
Cells that do NOT contain a nucleus or any other membrane bound organelle.
Nuclear material is mixed in with all other organelles.
Example of Prokaryote
Ex. – can be Unicellular organism such as bacteria
Eukaryotes
Cells that contain membrane – bound organelles.
The nucleus is contained by the nuclear membrane so the nuclear material is separated from the rest of the cell’s organelles.
Example of Eukaryote
Ex. – Single celled and Multi-celled organisms such as humans, plants, fungi and insects
