My name is Bo Carrick. I am 37 years old and I reside at 1960 Kennedy Terrace in Butler, New York.

What have you done for a living Ms. Kerrick?

I entered the criminal justice field as an entry-level probation officer one with the Cook County probation office and then was promoted in 2021 to probation officer four

And what kind of relevant education have you received in this area?

I received a bachelors for social studies from the SUNY at Butler State College in 2009 and in 2011 I received my masters in social work from Cornell University

What kind of responsibilities did you have as a probation officer

I was responsible for handling and resolving matters without core intervention conducting pre-sentence investigations for the court and working closely with probationers making sure they didn’t recidivate

How did you become acquainted with a Carmen Erickson?

I became familiar with Mr. Erickson from being assigned as his probation officer

What did Erickson get probation for?

Erickson was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree when he was 21 during a traffic stop a weapon was found in the car and none of the three people in the car claimed possession and all were charged

And for how long did you supervise Erickson?

I supervise Erickson for all two years of his probationary period.

Generally, what were Erickson's behavior behaviors?

Throughout the two years, I was overseeing Erickson. There were no violations everything pointed towards reform and the makings of a good citizen.

Why do you say that?

As a condition of probation, Erickson was required to meet with me for 30 minutes each month and we were generally speak about making the right choices in life. He stayed out of trouble during the probation and it seemed like we're making great

And what interactions pertaining to the case did you have with Sal Thomas?

I visited Thomas's office on September 24, 2025

What did you discuss with Thomas?

Thomas told me about the eyewitness and the pick up truck that was used. I told Thomas that Erickson does not have a pick up truck but Stuart does yeah Thomas went after Erickson who he referred to as a criminal back in September anyway anyways.

And what did you say anything about Stewart as a person involved in this case?

I said that Stewart should be a person of interest not Erickson

And what was expressed regarding Erickson and themselves

I'd express that Erickson is an innocent upstanding citizen who even put up to $2000 to post bail for Stewart
