Prejudice

Social Dominance Orientation (SDO)
A worldview that supports social hierarchies and sees equality as unrealistic.
Right-Wing Authoritarianism (RWA)
A worldview that values conformity and obedience to authority, often seeing outsiders as threats.
Implicit Bias
Unconscious bias that affects attitudes and behavior towards individuals from different groups.
Social Identity Theory
The theory that suggests individuals derive their identity from group memberships and perceive their ingroup as superior.
Social Categorization Theory
The framework that explains the tendency to favor one's ingroup and exclude outgroups.
Blatant Bias vs Subtle Bias
Blatant bias is open and obvious, while subtle bias may be more covert and less noticeable.
Benevolent Bias
A type of bias that may portray certain groups positively, such as viewing older individuals as adorable.
