Theory of Knowledge
Knowledge comes from understanding the constant flux of reality. Since everything is always changing, humans can only gain wisdom by recognizing patterns in that change.
Panta Rhei
“Everything flows.” Reality is in constant motion; nothing stays the same.
Stillness is an illusion
What seems stable is actually changing slowly or in ways we can’t detect; permanence is not real.
Connection to Parmendies
Contrasts with Parmenides (who says change is impossible).
Connection to Plato
Influences Plato’s two-world theory (changing world vs. Forms) and anticipates modern process philosophy.
