Incomplete Dominance
A situation in genetics where one allele is not completely dominant over another, resulting in a blending of traits in the heterozygous phenotype.
Codominance
A genetic situation where both alleles contribute equally and separately to the phenotype, such as speckled feathers in chickens.
Multiple Alleles
A condition where a gene has more than two possible alleles in the population, though an individual can carry only two.
Polygenic Traits
Traits controlled by two or more genes, often resulting in a wide range of phenotypes.
