Thank you. Used to express gratitude.
Sample sentence: 手伝ってくれてありがとう (てつだってくれてありがとう) - Thank you for helping me.
すみません (すみません)
Excuse me/Sorry. Used to get someone's attention or apologize.
Sample sentence: すみません、道を教えてください (すみません、みちをおしえてください) - Excuse me, could you tell me the way?
はい (はい)
Yes. An affirmative response.
Sample sentence: はい、行きます (はい、いきます) - Yes, I will go.
いいえ (いいえ)
No. A negative response.
Sample sentence: いいえ、それは違います (いいえ、それはちがいます) - No, that is not correct.
すごい (すごい)
Amazing/Great. Used to express admiration.
Sample sentence: その映画はすごかった! (そのえいがはすごかった!) - That movie was amazing!
お願いします (おねがいします)
Please. Used when requesting something.
Sample sentence: お水をください、お願いします (おみずをください、おねがいします) - Please give me water.
おはよう (おはよう)
Good morning. A greeting used in the morning.
Sample sentence: おはようございます!(おはようございます) - Good morning!
おやすみ (おやすみ)
Good night. Used to wish someone a good night.

You're welcome. A response to thank you.

Thank you for your hard work. A phrase used to appreciate someone’s efforts.
