Effective Speaking
Ensures a message is clearly heard and acted upon by the audience.
Core Elements of Effective Speaking
Include what you say (content and message) and how you say it (delivery and presentation).
Vocal Delivery
Refers to aspects such as pace, volume, tone, and clarity in speaking.
Non-Verbal Cues
Includes body language, eye contact, facial expressions, and how they enhance the message.
Sender
The source of the message in the communication process.
Channel
The medium through which the message travels, such as spoken word or email.
Intrapersonal Communication
Talking to oneself for decision-making and reflection.
Strategic Communication
A process involving defining outcomes, understanding the audience, and designing communications.
Types of Communication (Based on People)
Includes intrapersonal, interpersonal, dyad, small group, group, public, and mass communication.
Sole Proprietorship
A business owned by one person, easy and inexpensive to set up.
The 7 Cs of Effective Written Communication
Clarity, Conciseness, Concreteness, Correctness, Consideration, Completeness, and Courtesy.

Feedback
The receiver's response to the message, indicating understanding.
Noise
Anything that interferes with the communication process.
Partnership
A business owned by two or more persons who share capital and divide profits.
Corporation
A business with a separate legal identity from its owners, represented by shares of stock.
Service Business
Provides intangible products like skills or expertise in exchange for fees.
Merchandising Business
Buys products wholesale and sells them at retail prices for profit.
Management
Coordinates organizational activities to achieve objectives.
Customers
Individuals or businesses who purchase goods or services.
Development Communication
Integration of strategic communication in development projects for social transformation.
